Ginger cookies (my grandmothers recipe)
2 eggs
125 g butter
500 g brown sugar (brun farin)
500 g flour
2 teaspoon of ginger powder
1 teaspoon of cloves powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
Melt the butter at low temperature. Add 500 g brown sugar and the ginger/cloves powder. Add the 2 egs. Add the baking powder when the mixture has been chilled. Add the flour and mix the dough carefully. Make the dough into small cookies and put them in the oven at 200 deg. C in about 8 to 10 minutes.
